The Dewa Roman Experience has something to offer visitors of all ages. Atmospheric reconstructions, genuine archaeological remains or a Roman Soldier Patrol of our wonderful city are just a few of the activities we can provide. We specialise in educational tours, though we make a novel location for corporate events, birthday parties or simply a fun visit the whole family can enjoy.

Deva is the Roman fortress built almost 2,000 years ago which now lies buried beneath the hustle and bustle of modern day Chester. Visit the Roman fortress of Deva pronounced 'Dewa' in Roman times. Stroll along a reconstructed street, experiencing some of the sights, sounds and smells of life inside the Roman fortress.
