The Victoria is an oak-beamed city pub at the very heart of Chester. Since 1269 it has been a hostelry of one kind or another, from a 13th century haven for pilgrims with access to the adjoining St Peters church, to 19th century diningrooms, to the popular and thriving meeting place that it is today.
The Victoria has gained a name for excellence in food and drink. Using locally sourced primary ingredients, our three chefs create superb, freshly produced dishes. Popular choices include traditional Fish and Chips, home-made pies, pan-fried calf liver, sausage and mash and Game. We also offer at least three dishes for our vegetarian diners.
At the bar customers have a choice of three or four traditional cask ales as well as draught and bottled beers, cider, spirits and wines by the glass or bottle.
Only 2 minutes walk from Chester Town Hall; 15 minutes walk from Chester Railway Station
